📣 Exciting News for Escambia County Schools! 📣
We are proud to announce that Dr. Michele W. Collier, Superintendent of Escambia County Schools, has been named the District 1 Superintendent of the Year by the School Superintendents of Alabama! 🏆🎉
District 1 includes Baldwin, Mobile, Saraland, Satsuma, Chickasaw, Butler, Conecuh, Covington, and Escambia counties. Dr. Collier was chosen by her peers for her exceptional leadership and commitment to students, staff, and the communities we serve.
💬 Dr. Collier shared:
“I am honored and thankful to represent District 1, which includes so many exceptional communities and educational leaders. I’m also thankful for the team of leaders, teachers, and staff we have in Escambia who serve our schools. Escambia County Schools remains committed to maintaining a positive and focused learning
environment. To support school pride and provide flexible options for students, we are
pleased to share the following images/documents outlining updates to the student dress code for the 2025–2026 school year.
Students are expected to adhere to the dress code daily. Repeated violations will result in disciplinary
action as outlined in the Code of Conduct. This dress code fosters a positive educational atmosphere
that respects students' individuality while ensuring their safety.
